When undertaking long trips or going overlanding, a common concern is fuel capacity. Whilst most 4WD vehicles have fairly large fuel tanks, they often have larger engines. Once additional weight has been added to the vehicle, fuel consumption suffers and fuel capacity improvements can become essential. Having a larger fuel capacity can also give the advantage of being able to fill up in locations where fuel is cheaper or where fuel quality standards are higher.
N4 Off Road have developed a range of high-grade steel additional fuel tanks. Rather than replacing the main factory tank, this product is designed as an auxiliary tank to enable a significant increase in fual capacity. Installation is straightforward and instructions are supplied, but some degree of modification should be expected depending on vehicle model specification. All required parts are included in the kit.

“Is this easy to install?”
Installation is straightforward, but in some cases modification of mounting points or tank inlet is required.
“Does this tank replace the main factory tank?”
No, N4 additional fuel tanks are designed to fit in addition to your main factory tank.
“Are N4 tanks heavy duty?”
Yes, N4 tanks are made of high grade steel and coated with a durable epoxy finish.
“Will my existing fuel gauge still work?”
Yes, this will still show the fuel level in your main tank. We recommend installing the supplied secondary fuel gauge so you can also monitor the level in your auxiliary tank.
“Is this product compatible with N4 skid plates?”
Yes, it is compatible. We can also supply a skid plate for this product, ask if needed.
