ARB
ARB is one brand that is synonymous with 4×4 accessories. ARB started life back in 1975 in Australia’s Top End – a scenic, tropical oasis – known for its World Heritage sites, outstanding beauty and, of course, its remote and rugged terrain. A mecca for 4×4 adventurers, it was the natural birthplace for a manufacturer known for equipment for extreme conditions.
Founder Tony Brown was responsible for starting ARB after being inspired by the challenges he personally faced when exploring the Top End. He aimed to solve the issues of damaged bull bars and broken roof racks that regularly plagued avid overland tourers with his own high-quality equipment, including the innovative, futureproof ARB BASE rack.
Since then, ARB has evolved into Australia’s largest manufacturer with its equipment used across over 80 countries globally. They even own Old Man Emu, another best-selling brand we stock here at 4×4 Works.
EVC iDrive
It’s not just 4×4 storage and mechanical upgrades we supply. Our electrical range is full of the innovations 4×4 drivers need to enhance their vehicles from within. Our throttle controllers are among our bestsellers, with EVC iDrive’s award-winning product the first choice for off-roaders thanks to its reputation for being compact, intelligent and intuitive.
EVC iDrive is the first manufacturer to include automatic control modes in their electric throttle controllers. As a company, they are well regarded for their research, development and production prowess.

Terrain Tamer
Established in the 1960s, Terrain Tamer is one of the most established brands we stock. The world’s leading manufacturer learnt from the best to craft some of the 4WD industry’s most celebrated upgrades, including Tom Kruse, the man who was responsible for the world’s most remote postal service in the Australian Outback.
The start of Terrain Tamer led to some 50 years of engineering, testing and manufacture, and now their parts are used in some of the world’s most remote regions.
