These coil springs are formed from slightly tapered wire, which is then finished with a high quality powder coating. The tapered design allows for a high quality, comfortable ride, but with the benefit of significantly reducing the rebound forces which travel through the springs. This reduction helps keep the vehicle more level and more stable during lane changes and other manouevres such as navigating roundabouts and bends. The result is an increase in driver control and also a reduction in wear on the whole suspension system.
