Introducing the brand new M12.5S 12v electric self recovery winch, combining fantastic looks with the latest features and packed with standard features this winch stands perfectly alongside the ever popular and reliable Terrafirma A12000 winch.
A powerful 6.6hp motor, fast line speed on and off load and also lightweight at 37.5kg, this winch includes not only a cable remote control but two wireless remote controls, so both the driver and co-driver have complete control. Also as standard is the bright red 25m synthetic rope and the winch comes fitted with a winch hook. The drum is illuminated with 3 LEDs during operation for safe winching during low light. Super long 3m battery leads ensure that there are no risky connections from the power supply, long enough to reach the batteries under the seat of a Defender.
This winch is compatible with many winch bumpers including ARB Bull Bars and Sahara Winch Bumpers and also hidden winch mounts, but always check compatibility before ordering.

“Which winch is right for my needs?”
Generally speaking, an 8,000lb winch is fine for smaller vehicles, going up to 12,000lb for heavier full-size 4×4 models. Most importantly though, learning good off-road driving and winching techniques is the key to a successful and safe recovery.
“How do I fit a winch to my vehicle?”
We recommend and sell various model-specific winch bumpers, also we offer a range of hidden winch mounts which can be installed inside your factory front bumper.
“Is this winch waterproof?”
Good quality winches are designed to withstand normal driving conditions, bad weather, etc. However, unless specifically stated, our winches are not designed to be driven into standing water. Should this happen, we recommend properly drying out your winch as soon as possible following the manufacturer’s guidelines.
“Is steel or synthetic rope better?”
Synthetic rope is safer, but it also requires more care in use. Either way, having proper recovery equipment is important to prevent rope damage.
“My winch rope looks damaged, is it safe?”
Damaged or worn ropes should be replaced immediately, contact us if you need advice.
