How compatible are they with other accessories?
How other accessories (such as bars and racks etc.) can be accommodated around your load shield is a common query amongst upgraders. To ensure you reap all the rewards of adding a hardcover to your pickup, however, your vehicle must have nothing in the way. This means that the use of a load shield is not compatible with accessories like sports bars or racks.
There is one exception to this rule. EGR Load Shield Tonneau Cross Bars are specifically manufactured with compatibility in mind and can be used in conjunction with EGR Load Shields to unlock a range of versatile load rail options. Please note: EGR cross bars can only be used with covers that incorporate side rails.
