To the untrained eye, the differences between the Ranger PX, PX2 and PX3 are subtle. It’s only when you go off the beaten track that you realise just how superior the third generation T6 really is.

Often, and incorrectly, referred to online as the T8, the Ford Ranger T6 PX3 2019-22 may be styled differently, but under the hood, there are further improvements to ogle. With revised front suspension, and better on and off road performance just two of the areas that have been enhanced. The motoring world was so impressed by this beloved Ford model, that it was awarded Pickup of the Year by Parkers in 2020, 2021 and 2022!

Add bash guards

Protecting your Ford Ranger PX3 from the rigours of off roading isn’t easy. You’ll need premium quality vehicle protection to do the job and safeguard your vehicle’s most vulnerable parts from serious harm. When kitting out your T6 for the toughest trails, start with your vehicle’s underside. We’ll let 4WDing Australia explain why:

“The sole purpose of fitting underbody protection is to protect your fragile radiator, sump and drive line from damage when off road. This can be in the form of sticks and rocks being flicked up while driving along or physical impacts from logs or big rocks that touch underneath. Find a winch

Fit your mount

Install an Elocker

An Elocker will give you access to reliability, strength and traction as and when it is needed when taking your T6 off-road. Alternating between an open and locked differential is beneficial for so many reasons, with traction able to be controlled to ensure the best driving experience.

Both ELockers and Air Lockers are controlled by a switch in the cab, the difference is that an air locker requires a source of air via an on-board compressor.
