Old Man Emu suspension kits are Australian engineered and have been sold worldwide for more than 30 years. This premium kit offers a great solution for on and off road use, with flexible options for varying amounts of weight.

Notes: Correct vehicle alignment is important to avoid component contact – see Service Bulletin TSB003. Front upper strut mounting bushes are optional for PX and PX2 models but not currently available for PX3. Fitment of OME FK57 Driveline Spacer Kit is recommended to re-align driveline; if ARB Frontier Fuel Tank is fitted, this will need to be lowered to allow removal of the centre bolts. OME FK94 Trim Packer is available separately and provides 10mm of additional front lift at the wheel. Correct model selection is important as PX3 models have revised front suspension.

BP-51 High Performance Ride Control

Old Man Emu have developed an ultimate suspension solution for this vehicle model: BP-51 High Performance Bypass Ride Control. This is an optional kit upgrade and is the result of an exhaustive development process aimed at delivering the ultimate in both comfort and control. Unlike most other adjustable shock absorbers, which provide adjustment for compression only, the BP-51 range allows on vehicle, independent adjustability of both rebound and compression to offer class leading ride customisation that can be tailored to individual vehicle or trip requirements.

Selecting BP-51 options within the suspension kit will give you everything you need for installation including complete fitting hardware. This premium upgrade is designed for the driver who demands the best possible suspension performance, regardless of terrain.

BP-51 front shock absorbers for this model are supplied pre-assembled with coil springs and strut top mounts, so you do not need to select coil springs or top mounts when purchasing your kit.

Selecting the right kit for your vehicle weight and usage is very important. Most standard vehicles, without extra permanent weight, will benefit most from a medium-rate setup. Some kits are given a weight rating in kg, this applies to permanent front or rear accessory weight such as steel bumpers, winches, etc. Other kits are rated for "bull bar", "bar and winch" and so on; this refers to full-weight protection bumpers and bull bars.

“Why should I buy a premium suspension kit?”
Old Man Emu kits are developed as a complete system and undergo extensive testing, both on and off road. This leads to a safe, comfortable and durable suspension. Very few brands actually do this; many lesser brands will just buy in parts which were never intended to work together. This can lead to poor ride quality, unpredictable handling or even safety issues. OME suspension is not cheap, but it works really well.

“Will I need to replace other parts?”
No, additional parts are not normally needed unless specifically stated otherwise. Most OME kits are designed to work with standard brake lines and other standard components.

“Is this kit suitable for road use?”
Yes, the kit is intended to be comfortable on-road and durable off-road.

“Is this kit suitable for commercial users?”
Yes, we frequently supply OME kits for heavy towing, agricultural, emergency response vehicles and other business uses.

“Can you help me find the best setup for my needs?”
Yes, we are very happy to help with any questions you might have.

“Do you ship internationally?”
Yes, ask us for details. We will ship most parts within the UK and EU, but we do not normally ship leaf springs outside of the UK. Import taxes and other charges will apply to international orders.
