Expert pre-sales advice
Contact usOld Man Emu Upper Control Arms are developed to withstand the rigours of on and off road use. Regain your camber and caster adjustment.
Model: Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series – 2021-on
Intended Lift Height: 50mm approx
Kit Contents: LH and RH upper control arms, Ball joint caps
Notes: Fitting instructions and alignment specifications are included
When an Independent Front Suspension (IFS) vehicle is fitted with a suspension lift, the caster and camber can be pushed outside the factory specifications. IFS vehicles generally have just a few degrees of adjustment in their camber and caster from the factory.
Adding Old Man Emu upper control arms brings the alignment cams back into an acceptable range for both caster and camber.
After fitment of Old Man Emu Upper Control Arms, a wheel alignment check is required. If the vehicle is fitted with aftermarket wheels or tyres, clearance should also be checked. Additional caster may be required if the tyres or wheels do not clear.
Wheel alignment information is included in the fitting instructions supplied with the kit. The OME Upper Control Arm will provide an increase between +2.5 and +3.5 degrees of caster and up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber increase (figures based on an approximate 50mm or 2 inch lift).

“How are Old Man Emu control arms different from standard OE parts?”
They are physically different in several ways. The lengths and angles are changed, the ball joints are uprated and the design and materials used allow the arms to be stiffer and more durable.
“Why would I need to replace my control arms?”
For every 25mm of additional lift height, your vehicle will lose around 1 degree of caster. Many modern vehicles have about 2 degrees of caster adjustment available for wheel alignment, so adding a 2 inch lift means that you no longer have the means to properly adjust wheel alignment as needed. Fitting OME upper control arms allows for proper adjustment by restoring factory settings.
“Is this product suitable for standard height vehicles?”
No, OME upper control arms are intended for vehicles with the amount of lift stated on the product page. They will work perfectly with OME suspension kits, or other kits which offer a similar amount of lift.
“Are OME control arms adjustable or fixed?”
OME control arms have a fixed ball joint, they are not adjustable.
“Can you supply a suitable suspension package for my vehicle?”
Yes, see our other products or contact us for details.
