Terrain Tamer offer some of the highest quality and most durable suspension kits available in the world. Customers often comment on the quality, comfortable ride, durability and value. Every Terrain Tamer kit is designed and built for on-road ride comfort and off-road durability and ruggedness. There are many differences which make a Terrain Tamer kit special, with options (depending on model) including Smart Coils, Anti-Friction Leaf Springs, Parabolic Springs, Expanded Body Shock Absorbers. These innovations all work together to provide a more refined driving experience, whatever you use your vehicle for.
From coil and leaf springs, torsion bars, tapered and parabolic springs to expanded body and bypass reservoir shock absorbers, Terrain Tamer build their products to withstand the rigours of commerical and domestic use, both on and off road. This kit is available with the option of Parabolic leaf springs. Parabolic springs are tapered and contain less leafs than a conventional leaf spring, which results in improved ride comfort and better load handling. This takes performance and ride quality to the next level and also reduces spring shock which reduces drivetrain wear.

“Will this fit straight onto my vehicle?”
Yes, Terrain Tamer kits are complete and contain all required parts. This is a direct replacement for your existing suspension.
“Are Terrain Tamer Expanded Body Shocks a better than the manufacturer’s original part?”
Terrain Tamer Expanded Body shocks are larger diameter than many OE shocks. This makes them stronger and more durable, plus they have an increased gas and oil capacity.
“Are Terrain Tamer well-known worldwide?”
Yes, the company is family-owned and has been in business for more than 50 years. Terrain Tamer kits are sold in over 100 countries and are highly respected by remote-area users who need durable and long-lasting suspension.
“Some other brands offer cheaper kits for my vehicle, is it worth paying the extra?”
Most of the cheaper brands are buying in low-cost parts from the far east and selling basic kits which may not have undergone proper testing. These cheaper kits can give poor ride quality and unpredictable handling and be prone to component failure, sometimes within just a few months. If you can afford to buy a high quality kit, it is worth paying the extra.
“Can you help me to select the right options for my needs?”
Yes, our staff have undergone full product training and we are here to help you make the right choice.
